The Rules

Cost:
$80.00 per team ($78.00 league fees, $2.00 Stats Service Fees)

Transactions:
$3.00 per each player received in trade
$3.00 for each played picked up from free agency

A $20.00 Debt Cap is in place. If you owe more than $20.00 to the league, transactions cannot be made.

Prize Money:
$25.00 Weekly pay out to the weeks highest point gainer.

Playoff System:
1st 50% of total collected money after pay outs

2nd 25% of total collected money after pay outs

3rd 15% of total collected money after pay outs

4th 10% of total collected money after pay outs

Playoff contenders not eligible for $25.00 weekly pay out in weeks 14, 15 and 16

Miscellaneous Rules:

A Fourteen player roster will be drafted on draft day.

There are 12 teams; to be divided up into 3 divisions of 4 teams each. Divisions will be picked after the draft.

There is a salary cap of $20,000,000.

Any team Roster, at Game day time, which is over the salary cap will be fined -10 points for that week.

A head to head schedule is in effect. Each week your team will compete against an opponent. Based on your cumulative point (QB,RB,WR,K,Def) total, the winning team will be given 1 Win For their week, the loser will receive 1 loss. In the event of a tie, the tie-breaker will be based on most points scored by the QB. If that remains a tie then the breaker will move to the RB, WR, K, Def.

There are no tight end requirements.

A player may only play in his assigned position as listed in the roster.

Winners of the weekly $25.00 pay out will be paid on Friday's.

Stats will be handed out or posted on Tuesday's. Any discrepancy in points must be called into the commissioner prior to the weekly roster cutoff time.

Rosters must be called into the commissioner prior to the start of the first football game of the week. In the event that no roster is called in by the deadline your team will default to the previous weeks roster.

Touchdowns scored as fumble recoveries, interceptions, punt and kick returns are scored only by the defense and no points goes towards the individual player.

There will be a Trade Deadline on Sunday 11/14/98. All roster changes after this date must be made as free agent pickups only.
Free agent pick ups are based on a first come fist serve basis. A call must be placed to the commissioner to acquire the player. If no one else has claimed the player you have the rights to that player. If a call is placed to the commissioner's home for the acquisition, the time will be noted and the transaction will not be official until business voice mail has been checked. In the event that a call was made to voice mail the time stamp will indicate who will acquire the player.
